TAB Southwestern Connecticut Facilitator(s)

Each TAB Facilitator is an experienced business professional and is certified by The Alternative Board® to facilitate board meetings and conduct business coaching sessions by successfully completing an extensive TAB training program. Most facilitators run or have run their own businesses giving them a unique perspective to share with the board members.

The TAB facilitator guides the group discussion without dominating the meetings and encourages all members to express their views while keeping the discussion on track. The TAB facilitator ensures that all members have an opportunity to discuss their business issues for feedback and guidance from the other business-owner board members and that the discussions stay solution-focused.

Buck Miller has over 32 years’ experience in private law practice, in-house legal counsel and private company management.  He served as director and senior manager of a major U.S.-based shipping company with additional responsibilities for international and domestic joint ventures, insurance, crisis management, financing and project management.  He also developed and managed a subsidiary venture from start-up as a major contributor to the success of the entire organization.  Buck is a graduate of the Virginia Military Institute and Cornell Law School and has a masters of business administration in international business and finance from New York University.
